A clear first step

See a proposed improvement on your own floor

A free consultation and suitable test spot let you see how the proposed treatment responds on your floor. We explain the scope and price before you decide, including any marks or areas that may need a different approach.

Your preferred finish matters. Bring installation details, a care sheet or the stone name if you have them; a photograph alone may not confirm the material.

Tell us what matters most

Tell us the stone type if known, the approximate floor area, your preferred finish and where the problem is most noticeable. Mention previous sealers, cleaning products and any loose or damaged areas.

Highly experienced technicians explain the proposed work and any limits, so you can decide with a clear understanding of the service.

Start with the right diagnosis

Choose a finish goal—not just a shinier photograph

Cleaning or finish restoration?

Soil removal and changing the stone surface are different tasks. We explain which problem appears to be affecting the floor and how that shapes the recommendation.

Your preferred level of sheen

Discuss whether you want to retain a quieter finish or improve a polished appearance. A test is judged against your own floor and expectations.

Areas beyond polishing

Deep damage, uneven edges and loose tiles deserve a separate discussion. A polishing estimate should not silently include an unconfirmed repair or installation correction.

Real work, real materials

Natural-stone work in a real home

In our documented Panama City project, the homeowner wanted a dull floor, scratches and children’s crayon and paint marks corrected. We used a three-step polishing-pad system, handheld work in difficult-to-reach areas, drying and sealant. The owner reported that the concerns were corrected and the customer was happy.

This is evidence of that natural-stone project, not a material-specific guarantee. The homeowner recalls marble, but the stone species is not confirmed; we keep the example labeled natural stone.

From inspection to handover

A plan matched to your surface

  1. Assess material and finish

Review the stone, worn areas and previous treatments. Ask about the intended appearance and any areas you want kept out of scope.

  2. Show a suitable test spot

Discuss the visible change, deeper marks and the work required for the agreed finish. Explain price and any optional sealing before commitment.

  3. Polish the agreed floor areas

Complete the scoped treatment with accessible edge work where appropriate. Review the finish and hand over practical care instructions.

Protect your investment

Keep grit and unsuitable cleaners off the finish

Use a cleaner appropriate to the stone and any applied treatment. Keep loose grit under control and follow the care directions discussed at handover; cleaning habits should match the material rather than a generic tile-cleaning routine.

Ask us about foot traffic, furniture and wet-cleaning restrictions for the actual treatment. A dry-looking floor does not establish that a newly applied sealer has fully cured.

Set the right expectations

Polishing does not guarantee removal of every stain or scratch. The proposed treatment depends on material and damage; a test spot is evidence for that area, not a blanket promise for every mark.

A sealer does not create a polished finish. Cleaning, polishing and sealing are distinct parts of the decision and should be described clearly in the scope.

Useful answers before booking

Natural Stone Polishing: your questions

How is polishing different from cleaning?

Cleaning addresses removable soil or residue. Polishing concerns the stone’s surface finish; we assess which task fits the condition before recommending work.

Can I see the proposed finish before committing?

A suitable test spot is part of our free consultation approach. We explain what it demonstrates and how the wider floor or deeper damage may differ.

Will sealing make the floor shiny?

Sealing is a separate protection decision. It is not presented as a substitute for polishing or a promise of a particular sheen.

Do you work close to cabinets and edges?

Our documented natural-stone work includes handheld treatment in areas the larger machine cannot reach. We discuss accessible edge areas and exclusions in your estimate.

What if different rooms have different wear?

Point out the transitions and areas that matter most. We assess the proposed treatment and finish goal across the scoped floor rather than judging it from one favorable angle.
