A clear first step

See a proposed improvement on your own floor

A free consultation and suitable test spot let you see how the proposed treatment responds on your floor. We explain the scope and price before you decide, including any marks or areas that may need a different approach.

Your preferred finish matters. Bring installation details, a care sheet or the stone name if you have them; a photograph alone may not confirm the material.

Tell us what matters most

Tell us the stone type if known, the approximate floor area, your preferred finish and where the problem is most noticeable. Mention previous sealers, cleaning products and any loose or damaged areas.

Highly experienced technicians explain the proposed work and any limits, so you can decide with a clear understanding of the service.

Start with the right diagnosis

A granite floor deserves its own assessment

Film and streaks

Residue can affect how a polished floor catches the light. Explain your current cleaner and any coating previously used so we can assess the actual surface.

A mark within the stone

An absorbed mark is different from soil sitting on top. Its history and response to a suitable test help establish the scope and likely limitations.

Sealing suitability

Granite products vary, and an existing treatment matters. We discuss whether sealing is appropriate rather than assuming every granite floor needs the same application.

Real work, real materials

Finished stone is judged on the real surface

Your granite floor is assessed on its own material, finish and marks. We use the consultation to explain which aspects can reasonably improve and which need a different solution.

From inspection to handover

A plan matched to your surface

  1. Identify the finish and problem

Review material details, surface condition and previous treatments. Separate cleaning needs from physical damage or finish issues.

  2. Agree cleaning and optional sealing

Explain the work and a suitable test where helpful. Confirm which surfaces will be treated and how the expected appearance will be judged.

  3. Review the completed scope

Check the result with you and give access and maintenance instructions for any applied treatment.

Protect your investment

Keep grit and unsuitable cleaners off the finish

Use a cleaner appropriate to the stone and any applied treatment. Keep loose grit under control and follow the care directions discussed at handover; cleaning habits should match the material rather than a generic tile-cleaning routine.

Ask us about foot traffic, furniture and wet-cleaning restrictions for the actual treatment. A dry-looking floor does not establish that a newly applied sealer has fully cured.

Set the right expectations

Cleaning and sealing do not automatically correct deep scratches, chipped edges, loose tiles or an uneven installation. We identify those conditions before a surface-care estimate is agreed.

This page concerns granite floors. Countertop repair, refinishing and other surface work must be discussed separately; no additional capability is implied.

Useful answers before booking

Granite Floor Cleaning & Sealing: your questions

Does every granite floor need sealing?

We assess the material, absorbency and existing treatments before recommending it. Sealing is not a universal requirement for every granite product.

Can sealing remove an existing stain?

Sealing and stain treatment serve different purposes. We inspect the mark and discuss preparation or treatment rather than applying sealer as a stain-removal promise.

Is granite treated like marble?

No single method fits all stone. Material, finish and condition guide the recommendation for your floor.

Do you also restore granite countertops?

This service is scoped to floors. Contact us about another surface so we can confirm the appropriate scope instead of assuming it is included.

How should we maintain the floor afterward?

Use material-appropriate care and follow the directions for any treatment applied. Ask for the specific access and cleaning restrictions at handover.
