Repeated areas
Repeated incidents in one place can change what needs assessment. Explain how often it has happened and whether the odor returns after cleaning.
A clear first step
A rug is not automatically treated like installed carpet. Tell us the fiber, construction and care instructions if known, and show us the fringe, backing and any problem areas. We explain suitability and the proposed scope before you decide.
If the rug is especially delicate, valuable or has an uncertain history, say so at the start. The recommendation should reflect the actual piece and its supporting floor, not a generic rug-cleaning promise.

Highly experienced technicians explain the proposed work and any limits, so you can decide with a clear understanding of the service.
Start with the right diagnosis
Repeated incidents in one place can change what needs assessment. Explain how often it has happened and whether the odor returns after cleaning.
The decorative face may not be the only affected layer. Construction and previous wetting matter when discussing what the service can reach.
The supporting surface may need a separate decision. Tell us the floor material and whether a pad is present; rug treatment does not automatically treat the floor.
Real work, real materials
Our photograph shows real cleaning work on an area rug. It is not labeled as a verified wool or synthetic-fiber case.
For your rug, material and construction must be assessed before a method is agreed. Location, floor protection and any moving or treatment arrangements are clarified in the scope.

From inspection to handover
Review the rug’s identity, repeat areas, backing and supporting floor. Ask about past cleaners or deodorizing products.
Explain suitable treatment, handling and any concern that may extend beyond the rug service. Confirm limits and price before work.
Complete the agreed work and discuss drying, placement and any persistent concern that needs another assessment.
Protect your investment
Follow the rug maker’s directions for routine care and spills. Avoid aggressive scrubbing or repeated soaking of an unknown fiber, and retain the label or purchase details for future assessments.
Drying and return to placement depend on the rug and treatment. Ask about the floor beneath it and do not assume that a rug is ready to cover a sensitive surface merely because the top feels dry.
Complete odor removal is not guaranteed through surface treatment. Deeply affected layers, a contaminated pad or a continuing source can change what is needed.
The service does not automatically include pad replacement, floor treatment or physical rug repair. Those decisions must be discussed separately.
Useful answers before booking
A supporting surface or pad may need consideration. Tell us what is beneath the rug so the scope can distinguish rug treatment from another issue.
No. The incident history and affected layers can change what is realistic. We explain those limits before agreeing treatment.
Pad replacement is not automatically included. Tell us if the pad is affected so the next step can be discussed.
Discuss the rug material and care guidance first. Tell us about products already used rather than adding repeated unknown treatments.
Include material, size, repeat areas, incident history, previous products, photos and the type of floor or pad beneath the rug.
